My 10 month old puppy started with a strange habit. When she gets excited or plays she tends to move her back to the right or left as if she wants to check her tail. It is not her tail. The vet checked her and has no urinary infection or problems with anal glands, and there are no skin issues. Is there anyone out there that may have had the same experience?

Shes just wagging her tail. Thats how some dogs wag.
My dog did that when he was eight months old he did it for a while too then when he gt a bit older he stopped but now he occasionally does it when he is freaking out happy
it is completly normal ,its her way of showing excitment .everyone of them has a way . my dog actually does the same sometimes (shes 11 months old ) . so no worries .if shes not in pain then shes just too excited ,and shes flexible enough to get her head to reach her tail when shes WAY OVER excited .
don’t worry shes just excited
My dogs do that too. When the tail moves back and forth sometimes they move it too hard and it shakes there whole body. It’s funny cuz my dogs do that and it looks like they are shaking there buts. lol
