They are raised patched on her lower back. She is consistently scratchy them. I am currently using a medicated shampoo from the Vet. But there has to be something else I can do for her for relief. She has got to be miserable. I need suggestions please and thank you.

style="float:left; padding: 12px">

She hasn’t even been limping. She’s just completely hopping around with her hind right leg up in the air. Her ankle/hock joint seems swollen, but she’ll let me touch it and she doesn’t seem to have any external injuries on her leg or foot. She had to have acl surgery a year ago for her back left leg. She’s a lab mix, about 80 lbs, a bit overweight. With her acl, she’d at least limp on the bad leg. I’ve got a vet appt. for her asap, but it’s still two days away b/c of the holiday Colorado weather. What could she have done and how can I make her more comfortable in the meantime?
Thanks for the answers so far. . . today she’s actually got a huge knot on the inside of her ankle (close to golf ball size). Yikes! I know this isn’t good and her vet appt. still stands. Any ideas what it could be?

<p
