Watch the Hatter’s Castle and you will see she is 18ish in that movie.
Thanks for uploadin this im really enjoyin it!
What’s with the “Grand-Lou” stuff? Maybe Granny’s name is Louise, or something.
Laurel claimed she was “attacked” ( by this, I think they’re implying raped or molested) by a man in Hyde Park when she was 12. As Maitland says to Miss Madrigal, Laurel’s grandmother never allowed her to be examined. They were also implying that Laurel was probably lying about it. And to Miss Madrigal, Laurel’s tendency to lie and twist the truth is very disturbing.
what happened to laural when she was 12?? i still dont get it
it is Grand-Lou
Kerr is a very elegant lady. She butters toast elegantly! She is regal, beautiful and eloquent……..
Hmm.. it sort of sounds like “Grand-Lou”?
Deborah Kerr is so a sophisticate regal beauty. Everything fits so perfectly with her, to start from the elegant name Kerr…the way she talks, the way she looks at…with certain way of distance, the way she moves. The way any english lady is supposedly to look to any foreigner eye…but obvious it’s not. I wonder how she was and look as a young starlet.
A good hiding. Maybe a few.
At 5:34, what does Laurel call her grandmother? I can’t quite make it out.
Hayley is such a good actress. It’s so cute to see her with her father in this film, too. I wonder what he thought of her performance.
