She was underweight when I bought her 3 months ago. I am finally getting weight on her but yesterday I noticed that she has bald spots on her back right near the spine with what looks like a lot of dandruff. The spots don’t seem hot or sore to the touch. She is still eatting and drinking fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey…I just read your comment about your mares skin condition…I have amare due to foal May 9th…she is looking good but has the same thing….I upped her protein about 6 weeks ago (MyHorse.com) suggest the
best protein is 50/50 per day 1 lb…Alfalfa Pellets and soybean meal. She is not used to this kind of protein but she is doing great otherwise///wish I could bathe her but it is still too cool. she is sheeding out nicely….Any ideas…I am currently hunting under skin conditions.
