I had this relationship several years ago. Now I am in another and we have 3 kids together. I have seen this ex because we have mutual friends. But I would never interfear with any relationship he has now

why are you doing this? because you want him or because you don’t want her to have him?
anyway, you lost your ex-boyfriend, somehow, since he is your ex. you have no right to interfear in his current relationship.
Somewhere in your subconscious you still have feelings for him.
Deep down, you may feel resentment about the breakup.
It may mean that you are the person who does not want to admit failure. So you project the failure onto him or his girl friend and have them break up. Again, this is done unconsciously, you may not want to do it in reality. But this show your personality
